Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach at least three courses in areas such as Putonghua pronunciation, Chinese language and culture, Chinese as a second language, and first-year Chinese.
- Conduct research and maintain active academic publication record.
- Contribute to the department's teaching and scholarly mission.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctorate in Chinese Linguistics, Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, or related field.
- Possess Level 1 National Putonghua Proficiency Test Certificate; PSC Examiner qualification preferred.
- Have teaching experience in tertiary institutions matching position level (1+ years for Assistant Professor; 5+ years as Assistant Professor for Associate Professor).
- Demonstrate strong publication record.
