Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in film, popular culture, and related subjects.
- Serve as an academic advisor and counsellor to students.
- Perform committee work and other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree.
- Specialize in the study of Japan.
- Demonstrate native or near-native fluency in Chinese, Japanese, and English.
- Native or near-native fluency in Cantonese is advantageous.
Appointment
- Contract — two years, commencing January 2027, renewable subject to performance, funding, and mutual agreement.
