Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and review university engagement, communication, marketing, and branding strategies.
- Plan and implement university-wide events, programmes, and campaigns, particularly in the Chinese Mainland.
- Produce promotional materials including publications and souvenirs.
- Build academic exchanges and collaborations with Chinese Mainland institutions through networks and alliances.
- Supervise branch offices in the Chinese Mainland to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
- Negotiate and review partnership agreements between the university and external institutions.
- Collaborate with internal faculties and departments to develop engagement initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep understanding of Chinese Mainland context, culture, and established networks with government, universities, media, and industries.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, management, organisational, and writing skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract of 2 years; re-appointment subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
