Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to molecular hematology service including qPCR and ddPCR-based assays.
- Support NGS testing service and HLA DNA testing service.
- Carry out research and development work in the haematology laboratory.
- Manage laboratory databases including laboratory management systems and biobanking.
- Assist in equipment purchase, evaluation, and maintenance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in biology-related discipline from a recognised institution.
- Registration as a Medical Laboratory Technologist under Part II or above with the Medical Laboratory Technologist Board in Hong Kong.
- At least 3 years' work experience in medical laboratory science.
- Experience in handling and processing blood samples.
- Experience in advanced molecular biology techniques such as NGS library preparation and droplet digital PCR.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — up to 2 years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
