Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical and supervisory support to NGS testing services including panel-based, RNA-seq, and whole exome testing.
- Support molecular haematology service including PCR-based CAR-T monitoring.
- Provide technical support to HLA DNA testing service.
- Conduct research and development work with primary leukemia patient samples.
- Manage laboratory databases, management systems, and biobanking.
- Assist in equipment purchase, evaluation, and maintenance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in biology-related discipline from a recognised institution.
- Registration as a Medical Laboratory Technologist under Part II or above in Hong Kong.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in haematology laboratories.
- Experience in advanced molecular biology techniques including NGS library preparation, droplet digital PCR, CAR-T monitoring, and HLA testing.
- Experience in handling and processing blood samples.
- Experience in culturing primary leukemia patient samples.
- Master's degree in science-related discipline or experience in staff training, laboratory management, and biobanking is advantageous.
Appointment
- Contract — up to 2 years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
