Duties & Responsibilities
- Process patient samples including body fluids and tissues in the biobank.
- Register samples and enter data using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Conduct quality control testing on samples.
- Procure and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Work at multiple locations and outside normal office hours as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Be registered as a Medical Laboratory Technologist under Part II of the Register of the Medical Laboratory Technologist Board in Hong Kong.
- Have experience handling blood and tissue samples.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Work independently in a careful and well-organised manner.
- Have experience in clinical sample handling and LIMS use.
Appointment
- Contract — up to 1 year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
