Multimedia Development Officer/Multimedia Development Assistant (at the rank of Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer)

Duties & Responsibilities

Produce educational and publicity multimedia content including videos, photos, infographics, and motion graphics for digital and print media.
Manage the full multimedia production process from storyboarding through post-production editing.
Coordinate with Faculty staff on video and photo production and oversee production schedules.
Create engaging content for Faculty social media platforms.
Provide visual and audio support for Faculty events, conferences, and promotions, including work outside office hours.
Maintain studio equipment and manage multimedia production facilities.

Bachelor's degree in Creative Media, Multimedia, Filming and Photography, Visual Communications or related field with at least 7 years of professional multimedia production experience.
Hands-on expertise in video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom).
Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and generative AI tools.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design sense, visual storytelling, and multimedia production skills.
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, Xiaohongshu); prior in-house social media management experience preferred.

Full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
