Part-time Assistant Computer Officer (carrying the job title of ‘Digital Technologist’)

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and optimize websites, systems and digital tools including AI-assisted applications.
Implement SEO, accessibility and performance best practices across digital properties.
Build and manage technical infrastructure including APIs, databases, servers and cloud hosting.
Ensure high performance, reliability, security and scalability of digital platforms.
Perform regular backups and provide recovery options for servers.
Assist in bug fixing, testing, quality assurance and documentation.
Evaluate and implement AI and emerging technology tools to automate workflows.
Provide technical support and user training workshops.
Facilitate procurement, inventory management and expense reporting for technical equipment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
At least 4 years' full-stack or digital technical experience.
Solid experience in web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL and database administration.
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Self-motivated with high aptitude for creative problem-solving.
Familiarity with APIs, CDNs, CMS customisation, cloud services, DevOps practices and Linux environments is advantageous.
