Duties & Responsibilities

Design three questionnaires using Qualtrics or HKIAPS survey platforms for students, teachers, and school administrators.
Conduct e-survey trial testing, debugging, and collaborate with the research team on questionnaire distribution and data collection.
Assist with preliminary data management, codebook creation, dataset cleaning, and aftermath multivariate analysis.
Develop a dedicated project webpage documenting promotional materials, previous reports, newsletters, and publications.
Provide comprehensive website maintenance including updates, layout adjustments, server migration, bug fixes, security, and data backup.
Perform additional IT-related tasks as instructed by the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators.

Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline from a recognised university.
2 to 4 years' relevant post-qualification work experience.
Solid experience with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, Next.js).
Strong backend or CMS experience: Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), PHP.
Familiarity with web server configuration (NGINX or Apache) and web/database security including HTTPS/SSL setup.
Knowledge of modern infrastructure tools: Git, Docker, NGINX, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
IT security awareness and sensitivity for data protection from cybersecurity threats.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organisational, and communication skills with a proactive and service-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently and good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Advantage: capability in data analysis and advanced multivariate analysis tools (SPSS, R Studio, STATA).
