Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach a postgraduate course in New Media and Computing within the MSc programme.
- Provide hands-on instruction in computational tools and technologies for new media.
- Cover front-end and back-end coding, web scraping, data visualization, API development, mobile programming, and AI-assisted development.
- Teach students with limited technical backgrounds and conduct the course in English.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Preferably hold a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline, or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of directly relevant experience.
- Possess strong knowledge of new media technologies and ongoing technical developments.
- Have teaching or research experience in the field (advantageous).
- Be capable of teaching computational and technical content to non-specialists.
Appointment
- Part-time contract for approximately 5 months, renewable subject to mutual agreement and performance.
