Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect relevant data including web crawling for a research project on Hong Kong's place brand image.
- Process collected data and compile corpora.
- Assist with qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis.
- Help disseminate research findings.
- Coordinate with project team members and external partners.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the project leader.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Linguistics, Tourism Studies, or Computing (or bachelor's degree with relevant experience for Project Assistant role).
- Training in corpus linguistics preferred.
- Programming and/or statistical skills preferred.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research on online data and social media preferred.
- High proficiency in English preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in teams preferred.
Appointment
- Part-time, 6-month contract
