Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating a psychometric validation research project on shared decision making in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Conduct literature reviews on shared decision making and psychometric validation of observer-based measures.
- Recruit research participants and obtain written informed consent from physiotherapists and patients.
- Assist in audio-recording physiotherapy consultations and coding using OPTION-5 and OPTION-12 scales.
- Perform data entry, de-identification, secure data management, and quantitative data analysis including reliability and factor analysis.
- Provide general research-related assistance and support to the Principal Investigator.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, social science, psychology, statistics or related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Cantonese.
- Clinical research or healthcare data collection experience preferred; physiotherapist registration or musculoskeletal physiotherapy knowledge advantageous.
- Statistical software proficiency preferred.
- Strong team player capable of coordinating research projects independently.
Appointment
- Part-time, up to 10 months temporary contract (less than 68 hours per four consecutive weeks).
