Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a research project on lifestyle-related biomarkers in the local population.
- Conduct on-site biometric measurements such as body height, weight, and blood pressure.
- Handle and process human biological specimens including blood and saliva.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Health Sciences (for Research Assistant II) or at least 5 HKDSE Level 2 subjects including English, Chinese, and Mathematics (for Technical Assistant).
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Access and/or SPSS is advantageous.
- Experience handling biological specimens or working with human subjects in research is desirable.
Appointment
- Part-time contract — less than 68 hours per four consecutive weeks; benefits provided according to statutory provisions.
