Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the project investigator in implementing all aspects of acoustic analysis research on the Hmong language.
Support data processing, programming, and statistical analysis for the project.
Provide administrative support to the research project.
Carry out other duties as assigned by the project investigator.

Hold a recognized bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, computer science, or data science.
Preferably possess a higher degree and familiarity with acoustic data analysis.
Demonstrate strong responsibility, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Praat, and R.
Have experience with corpus analysis tools, programming languages (Python, R), and transcription or annotation software.
Possess outstanding written and spoken English and Chinese abilities.
Preference given to candidates with relevant research or project administration experience.
