Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader in research on developmental language disorder identification in bilingual children.
- Conduct subject recruitment, data collection, transcription, and data coding/annotation/analysis.
- Co-supervise student assistants in data collection and management tasks.
- Support studies investigating language processing in children with normal and atypical language development.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the project leader.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a master's degree in Linguistics, Speech Therapy, Psychology, or related discipline, or a good honours degree with three or more years of relevant experience.
- Be a native speaker of Cantonese with proficiency in Putonghua preferred.
- Preferably have experience administering experimental studies to school-aged children.
- Ideally be interested in pursuing further postgraduate study (PhD or MA/Master of Speech Therapy).
Appointment
- Part-time, six to twelve months
