Duties & Responsibilities
- Work on an assessment project aligned with the 2025 PISA framework in one domain.
- Complete OECD training on assessment task design.
- Develop age-appropriate digital assessment tasks and scoring rubrics for P4-S3 students.
- Draft interactive assessment items and formulate detailed scoring rules.
- Collaborate with the project team on iterative refinement of assessment materials.
- Ensure all work aligns with OECD and PISA standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- Extensive hands-on teaching experience in science or computing-related subjects at upper primary or junior secondary levels.
- Strong conceptual understanding of computational or scientific inquiry practices and ideally self-regulated learning.
- Ability to write assessment items in English or Chinese.
- Digital proficiency and willingness to learn digital authoring environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively according to project guidelines and timelines.
- Experience developing assessment items mapped to curriculum or assessment frameworks (desirable).
- Experience developing interactive, open-ended items using block-based coding, concept maps, spreadsheets, or data exploration tools (desirable).
Appointment
- Part-time — temporary contract for up to three months, commencing as soon as possible.
