Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teach and deliver Chinese culinary training courses with practical hands-on instruction.
  • Develop and update teaching materials and assist with curriculum development.
  • Manage classrooms and maintain related records.
  • Assist with procurement, maintenance and upkeep of department facilities and equipment.
  • Support recruitment of trainees and provide employment guidance.
  • Oversee daily operations of training programmes and training kitchen.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Hold an advanced diploma in hospitality, culinary science, Chinese cooking or related field, plus three years or more relevant work or teaching experience.
  • Pass a skills assessment.
  • Possess a hygiene manager certificate (preferred).
  • Be able to prepare Cantonese dim sum (advantageous).
  • Be fluent in written and spoken Chinese with Mandarin proficiency preferred.
  • Be proficient with general computer software.
