Duties & Responsibilities

Develop research questions, conceptual frameworks, and project designs within a multidisciplinary team.
Extend ongoing research projects and initiate new studies and collaborations.
Plan and conduct data collection through interviews, observations, surveys, archival research, and digital methods.
Perform qualitative, quantitative, computational, mixed-method, and comparative analyses.
Prepare competitive research proposals for internal and external funding.
Lead manuscript development and contribute to academic publications and research outputs.
Support project management, team coordination, and partnerships with the Principal Investigator.
Contribute to knowledge transfer, policy engagement, and conference presentations.

PhD in Urban Studies, Sociology, Social Policy, Public Administration, Entrepreneurship, Human Geography, or related field.
Strong expertise in qualitative, quantitative, computational, or mixed-method research approaches.
Experience developing research proposals and independently managing empirical studies.
Knowledge of social innovation, urban or community issues, or public policy in Hong Kong or comparative contexts preferred.
Excellent English command for research communication and participant interaction.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to academic writing and publishing.
