Duties & Responsibilities

Develop mathematical models and efficient solution methods for semiconductor equipment scheduling and automated material handling systems.
Leverage machine learning and operations research techniques to optimize wafer processing sequences and reduce transport delays.
Design and implement a digital twin framework integrating real-time data and simulation models for performance monitoring and strategy evaluation.
Deliver research outcomes and practical applications to industry partners in semiconductor manufacturing.
Write and submit high-quality academic papers.

Ph.D. in Automation, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Strong programming proficiency.
Relevant research experience in scheduling, routing, multi-agent pathfinding algorithms, or related problem domains.
