Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis of single cell RNA-sequencing and transcriptomics data.
- Conduct Nanopore long read sequencing analysis and multimodality deep learning model development in sarcomas.
- Handle clinical samples such as FFPE tissue and blood.
- Prepare samples for scRNA-seq and perform DNA/RNA extractions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in biological science, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics or related disciplines.
- Expertise in bioinformatics, deep learning, and/or biomedical image and clinical data analysis (Linux, R programming).
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and creative with excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
- Publications in related fields are a strong advantage.
- Basic laboratory skills in handling clinical samples are desirable.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for one to two years, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
