Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research in biomedical sciences within the School of Biomedical Sciences.
- Develop expertise in epigenetics, stem cell reprogramming, neural development, or disease modelling using human iPSCs.
- Apply advanced techniques including genomics, CRISPR/Cas genome editing, stem cell differentiation, and animal modelling.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics/Genomics, Stem Cell Biology, or related discipline.
- Outstanding experimental, writing, and communication skills with strong command of written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, innovation, and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary team environments.
- Preferred experience in epigenetics, stem cell reprogramming, neural development, iPSC disease modelling, or bioinformatics/artificial intelligence.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — 3 years, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
