Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analyses on socio-economic inequality topics.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in high-impact academic journals.
- Present research findings at research institutions and conferences.
- Work with a mentor from the centre's leadership team for guidance.
- Assist team leaders with project management tasks and strategic planning activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree in a social science discipline.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of poverty and income inequality causes.
- Possess strong quantitative skills with experience in complex and network data modeling.
- Have substantial experience with longitudinal and multiple-wave data.
- Be proficient in written and spoken English; Chinese language skills are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Appointment
- Full-time, one- to two-year temporary contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
