Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analyses on socio-economic inequality topics.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in high-impact academic journals.
- Present research findings at research institutions and conferences.
- Work with a mentor from the centre's leadership team for guidance and support.
- Assist team leaders with project management and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in a social science discipline (e.g., social work, sociology, population and mental health).
- Strong understanding of poverty and income inequality causes.
- Strong quantitative skills with experience in complex data modeling and network analysis.
- Experience with longitudinal data and multiple-wave data analysis.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; Chinese language skills are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for one to two years, with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
