Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to a collaborative research project investigating how transcription factors regulating pluripotent stem cells evolved at the origin of animal multicellularity.
- Analyze candidate transcription factor families and their mutations using biochemical assays, sequence analysis, and induced pluripotent stem cell induction.
- Uncover molecular innovations that facilitated the emergence of multicellular animals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in pluripotent stem cell biology, cellular reprogramming, or bioinformatics (preferred).
- Excellent experimentation, writing, and communication skills.
Appointment
- Full-time — One year contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
