Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to a collaborative research project investigating how transcription factors regulating pluripotent stem cells evolved during early animal multicellularity.
- Analyze candidate transcription factor families and their mutations using biochemical assays, sequence analysis, and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) induction.
- Uncover molecular innovations that facilitated the emergence of multicellular animals approximately 700 million years ago.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree, preferably in pluripotent stem cell biology, cellular reprogramming, or bioinformatics.
- Demonstrate excellent experimentation, writing, and communication skills.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for one year, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
