Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis of single cell RNA-sequencing, transcriptomics data, and Nanopore long read sequencing analysis.
- Develop multimodality deep learning models for different sarcomas.
- Handle clinical samples (FFPE tissue, blood) and prepare samples for scRNA-seq.
- Conduct DNA/RNA extractions and biomedical image analysis.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in biological science, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics or related disciplines.
- Expertise in bioinformatics, deep learning, and/or biomedical image and clinical data analysis.
- Proficiency in Linux and R programming.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and creative with excellent communication skills.
- Publications in related fields are a strong advantage.
Appointment
- Full-time — 1 to 2 years (with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
