Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop novel 3D reconstruction algorithms for objects and scenes at various scales, including marine environments.
- Implement algorithms and devise systems for the 3D reconstruction pipeline.
- Design and run experimental setups to validate approaches.
- Drive research efforts toward publications in top-tier venues.
- Collaborate closely with research group members.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Expertise in multi-view stereo and structure-from-motion techniques.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and/or Matlab.
- Experience with feature descriptor extraction and matching.
- Familiarity with optimization algorithms.
- At least one first-author paper in top venues such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, TPAMI, IJCV, SIGGRAPH, or related conferences.
