Duties & Responsibilities
- Work on material science and surface science projects using scanning tunnelling microscopy.
- Conduct research within Prof. Maohai Xie's group on assigned projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess strong background or experience in 2D materials, carbon nanotubes, scanning tunnelling microscopy/spectroscopy, or molecular beam epitaxy.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight project deadlines and work under schedule pressure.
Appointment
- Full-time — 2-year contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
