Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis with the Stroke Research and Prevention Group.
- Write up research results and train students in neuroimaging techniques.
- Apply image analysis skills to clinical and research MRI techniques for stroke and dementia studies.
- Process MRI data from large cohort studies and randomized controlled trials.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Neuroimaging, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience or keen interest in MRI processing, arterial spin labeling, and diffusion tractography.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
- Self-driven, motivated, and creative approach to designing image analysis pipelines.
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
- Experience with image analysis packages (Freesurfer, FSL, SPM, 3DSlicer) or machine learning/AI models is advantageous.
Appointment
- Contract — 1 to 3 years, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
