Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver collaborative projects on live-attenuated vaccine strategies for influenza and respiratory diseases.
- Focus on either immunology (characterizing immune mechanisms) or molecular virology (vaccine development).
- Conduct independent and team-based research in the Global Health Institute.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in biological/medical sciences with expertise in B and T cell immunology, virology, or microbiology.
- Proven research track record with strong written and spoken English skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in teams.
- Prior experience with respiratory viruses, vaccine/drug development, or innate immunity is advantageous.
Appointment
- Temporary contract: one-year or two-year term with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
