Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver collaborative projects on live-attenuated vaccine strategies for influenza and respiratory diseases.
  • Focus on either immunology (characterizing immune mechanisms) or molecular virology (vaccine development).
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the research team.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in biological/medical sciences with experience in B and T cell immunology, virology, or microbiology.
  • Proven research track record with strong communication skills and fluent spoken and written English.
  • Be organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated.
  • Prior experience with respiratory viruses, vaccine/drug development, or innate immunity is advantageous.

Appointment

  • Full-time temporary contract for one or two years, with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
