Duties & Responsibilities
- Work on a research grant focused on estimating arrival times of buses in Hong Kong.
- Perform multi-sourced data fusion, spatiotemporal analysis, and big data analytics using programming languages.
- Manage project timelines and manpower while maintaining communication with team leaders and transit operators.
- Demonstrate efficiency, responsibility, patience, and meticulousness in task delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. in transport, computer science, or related disciplines (or be near completion).
- Alternatively, possess a Master's degree with at least three years of project management experience.
- Be proficient in multiple programming languages such as Python.
- Have experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and multi-team collaboration outside academia.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — 12 months (1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027, with 3-month probationary period); salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
