Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in a General Research Fund research project by generating research output independently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary scholars on research projects.
- Prepare research proposals for competitive grant applications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree or equivalent in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related Social Sciences fields.
- Demonstrate a track record of publications in high-quality international journals or refereed publications.
- Possess knowledge of Chinese media systems and global social media governance (highly desirable).
- Have experience in computational social science, causal inference, machine learning, or AI applications in communication studies (advantageous).
Appointment
- Full-time contract for 18 months with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

- Start date: Fourth quarter of 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
