Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on SARS-CoV-2 and enterovirus projects under Professor Philip Yeung's supervision.
- Perform live virus infection experiments and related laboratory work.
- Work independently on assigned research tasks while maintaining high standards of detail and organization.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent qualification in Microbiology or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong written and spoken English communication skills and sense of responsibility.
- Possess research experience in live virus infection work (advantageous).
- Be self-motivated, organized, detail-minded, and capable of independent work.
Appointment
- Full-time — 1 year contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
