Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with Principal Investigators on research into China's economic, financial, and social history for academic publications.
- Lead Research Assistants and contribute to Centre activities.
- Moderate research seminars, oversee publications, and coordinate seminars and biennial conferences.
- Engage regularly in the academic life of the Centre through attendance at readings, lectures, and presentations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, History, or closely related field obtained within the last three years (or completion by Summer 2026).
- Demonstrate strong interest in quantitative history research.
- Possess excellent communication skills in Chinese and English for writing and oral presentation.
Appointment
- Full-time — one-year temporary terms or two-year fixed terms, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
