Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with Principal Investigators on research into China's economic, financial, and social history for academic publication.
- Lead Research Assistants and contribute to Centre activities.
- Moderate research seminars and oversee the Centre's publications.
- Coordinate seminars and biennial conferences.
- Engage actively in the Centre's academic life through attendance at readings, lectures, and presentations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, History, or a closely related field completed within the last three years or before Summer 2026.
- Demonstrated interest in quantitative history research.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Appointment
- One-year temporary terms or two-year fixed terms, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
