Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead a research team conducting data analysis on genomic, metagenomic, and ecological surveillance data.
- Develop analysis pipelines for various data types.
- Occasional work off-campus, outside office hours, and on weekends may be required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Biology or related disciplines.
- Solid knowledge of chemistry and biology with excellent spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Experience in virology research preferred; experience in bioinformatic data analysis (microbiome, virome, environmental metagenomics) preferred.
- Logical, detail-oriented, self-motivated approach; preference for those with virus transmission experience.
Appointment
- Temporary term contract of one to three years, with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
