Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead a research team conducting data analysis on genomic, metagenomic, and ecological surveillance data.
- Develop analysis pipelines for different data types.
- Occasional off-campus work and outside office hours may be required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Biology or related disciplines.
- Solid knowledge of chemistry and biology with excellent spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Logical, detail-oriented and self-motivated approach to work.
- Preferred: experience in virology research, bioinformatic data analysis, microbiome/virome/environmental metagenomics, and virus transmission.
Appointment
- Full-time, one- to three-year temporary term contract with possible renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
