Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct theoretical or computational analyses of neuronal circuit data using advanced mathematical methods.
Perform multi-level investigations combining optical imaging, behavioral analysis, and computational modeling to study adaptive and maladaptive behavior.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and external partners on neuroscience research projects.
Contribute to developing theoretical models and predictions based on electrical signals from mouse brains during various behaviors.

PhD in a STEM subject, preferably neuroscience, data science, bioinformatics, or computational biology.
Strong mathematical and computational background for theoretical/computational positions; skilled experimental technique and biological background for in vivo positions.
Previous experience with mouse in vivo experiments required for experimental track; optical imaging or head-fixed imaging experience desirable.
Experience or strong interest in nanopore-based DNA methylation analysis and bioinformatics required for molecular position.
