Duties & Responsibilities

Design and conduct experiments in protein biochemistry, enzyme-based assays, and biosensor development.
Measure and model enzyme kinetics to understand reaction mechanisms and optimize assays.
Develop and optimize protein conjugation methods and linker designs to improve enzyme properties.
Establish and validate biochemical detection methods with assessment of sensitivity and robustness.
Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot technical problems, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Prepare manuscripts, research reports, presentations, and contribute to funding applications.
Support research student training, maintain laboratory records, and coordinate research activities.

PhD in Chemical Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Protein Biochemistry, or Biotechnology awarded within the past three years, or near completion.
Practical experience in protein biochemistry, enzyme kinetics, protein conjugation, or biosensor development.
Ability to design experiments independently, optimize laboratory methods, and interpret quantitative data critically.
Strong scientific writing and communication skills in English with ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
Experience with kinetic modeling and data analysis using Python, R, MATLAB, or equivalent software is advantageous.
