Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on the design, formulation, and characterisation of siRNA-loaded lipid nanoparticles for cancer therapy.
- Perform in vitro studies to evaluate cellular uptake, gene silencing efficiency, and anti-cancer efficacy of combinatorial treatments.
- Design and conduct in vivo studies using animal tumor models to assess therapeutic efficacy, biodistribution, and safety.
- Analyse experimental data and prepare research reports, manuscripts, and conference presentations.
- Assist in project coordination, laboratory management, regulatory documentation, and progress reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in nanoparticle-based drug delivery, RNA therapeutics, cancer biology, molecular biology, or preclinical animal studies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research team.
- Experience with cell culture and molecular/cellular assays is preferred.
- Experience in small animal handling and in vivo cancer models is highly desirable.
Appointment
- Full-time — 12 months with possibility of extension.
