Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct historical research on war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the Sri Lankan Civil War.
- Co-author legal and policy briefs with the supervising professor.
- Co-author scholarship for publication in reputable academic journals and outlets.
- Liaise and collaborate with project partners and stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in History or Public International Law, ideally with focus on the Sri Lankan Civil War.
- Demonstrated academic capabilities in history or public international law.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Sinhala or Tamil is highly encouraged.
- Background in both history and law is advantageous.
Appointment
- Contract — 6 months, renewable subject to mutual agreement
