Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate research and teaching needs while providing technical support in data visualization, computational social science, and data mining.
- Oversee daily operations of the Digital Media Data Initiative.
- Perform other duties as assigned by faculty members.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in Computational Communication, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Science, Computational Social Science, or related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong programming and data mining skills with interest in computational social science.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Show self-motivation, responsibility, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Appointment
- Contract — up to two years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
