Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate research and teaching needs while providing technical support in data visualization, computational social science, and data mining.
- Oversee daily operations of the Digital Media Data Initiative.
- Perform server maintenance including LLM infrastructures, parallel computing, and web services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Communication, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Science, Computational Social Science, or related discipline.
- Strong background in computer science, programming, and data mining.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivation, high sense of responsibility, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — up to two years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
