Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent philosophical research on AI and related areas.
- Coordinate peer-review processes and communicate with authors and referees.
- Assist with special issues, symposia, and journal editorial workflow management.
- Participate in AI & Humanity Lab seminars, workshops, and events.
- Contribute to the journal's strategic development in collaboration with international editors.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in philosophy or closely related field completed by appointment date.
- Research focus in philosophy of AI or neighbouring areas (philosophy of mind, language, epistemology, ethics, technology).
- Strong organisational and communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across time zones.
- Editorial experience is advantageous but not essential.
Appointment
- Full-time, 2-year contract (subject to performance and funding); 50% research, 50% editorial duties.
