Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent philosophical research on AI as part of a 50/50 position split.
- Coordinate peer-review processes and communicate with authors and referees for the journal.
- Assist with special issues, symposia, and maintenance of the journal's editorial workflow.
- Participate in AI & Humanity Lab seminars, workshops, and events.
- Contribute to the journal's strategic development in collaboration with international editors.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Completed Ph.D. in philosophy or a closely related field by time of appointment.
- Research background in philosophy of AI or neighbouring areas such as philosophy of mind, epistemology, or ethics of AI.
- Must be based in Hong Kong.
- Strong organisational and communication skills required.
- Editorial experience is advantageous but not essential.
