Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader with multiple research projects on urbanising China, social wellness, mental health services, and adolescent school non-attendance.
- Provide logistics support and retrieve data from research records, social media platforms, and maps.
- Develop methods for GIS and Qualitative Comparative Analysis of narrative, social media, and Point of Interest data.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Unit.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Postdoctoral Fellow: doctoral degree in Social Sciences or related discipline with no more than five years of post-qualification experience.
- Research Associate: master's degree in Social Sciences or related discipline.
- Proficient academic writing in both English and Chinese.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and project management skills; ability to work independently and efficiently.
Appointment
- Postdoctoral Fellow: Full-time, 12-month contract
- Part-time Research Associate: Part-time, 6-month contract
