Duties & Responsibilities

Design, develop and integrate advanced intelligent human-robot collaborative systems with robotic hardware, sensing modules and control architectures.
Conduct independent research on multimodal human-robot interaction and human-centered collaborative robotic systems.
Develop algorithms for human intention understanding, multimodal perception, fusion and environment-aware state estimation.
Investigate game-theoretic and human-in-the-loop decision-making methods for human-robot collaboration.
Establish safety-aware control frameworks for coupled human-robot-environment systems with stability and performance guarantees.
Design experiments for collaborative robotic tasks including contact-rich manipulation and data collection.
Prepare high-quality research outputs including journal articles, conference papers and funding proposals.
Assist in supervising research students and collaborate with internal and external project partners.
