Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader with corpus-based oral English assessment research.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on spoken English proficiency and communication competency.
- Collect extensive spoken corpora and participant demographic information.
- Develop assessment instruments and protocols using AI tools for language analysis.
- Prepare and publish high-quality research articles with university staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in Applied Linguistics, Education, or related discipline.
- Have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at time of application.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of empirical research.
- Work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Possess excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities.
Appointment
- Full-time — 12 months (October 2026 to September 2027)
