Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist project leader in developing self-heating traditional Chinese medicine patches for knee osteoarthritis treatment.
- Perform chemical analysis using LC-MS to characterise TCM patch components and transdermal absorption.
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo bioactivity testing using ELISA, histopathology, qPCR, and Western blot techniques.
- Perform comprehensive toxicology evaluations including acute/chronic toxicity and skin irritation tests.
- Optimise pharmaceutical formulation of TCM ingredients for effective delivery and stability.
- Collect, analyse, and report experimental data using statistical methods and prepare research reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in Biology, Pharmacology, Natural Science, Life Science, Physiology or related discipline with no more than five years post-qualification experience.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Strong sense of responsibility, high motivation, and ability to work independently.
Appointment
- Full-time, thirteen-month contract
