Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Assistant I in the Department of Psychology

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and manage predictive models for health outcomes and digital behavioural interventions.
Manage and analyse large datasets using quantitative and computational methods.
Assist in writing grant proposals and scholarly manuscripts.
Coordinate multiple research activities and projects.

PhD in psychology, data science, computer science, or related field (for Postdoctoral Fellow) or Bachelor's degree or above (for Research Assistant I).
Strong proficiency in machine learning, statistical modelling, and data analysis using Python, R, or similar platforms.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Experience in grant writing, manuscript preparation, and psychological or behavioural data analysis preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
Knowledge of clinical health psychology, behavioural health, community health, women's health, elderly wellbeing, or physical-mental health intersections is advantageous.

Full-time — One year, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Commencement: As soon as possible or no later than June 1, 2026.
