Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader in the research project "Intelligent fibrous systems (INFUSE): Materials, devices, and integration".
Requirements & Qualifications
- Postdoctoral Fellow: Doctoral degree in Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Polymers, Textiles, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with no more than five years of post-qualification experience.
- Research Assistant: Honours degree in Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Polymers, Textiles, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Both positions: Strong hands-on skills in polymer processing, microfabrication, mechanical design and fabrication, textile manufacturing, electrical circuits, and/or 3D printing.
- Both positions: Strong communication skills and strong motivation to pursue accomplishments.
Appointment
- Full-time — Postdoctoral Fellow (24 months); Research Assistant (two posts, 6 months each).
