Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader in developing AI-powered smart apparel for treating freezing of gait in Parkinson's disease.
- Contribute to research on wearable technology applications in healthcare.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Postdoctoral Fellow: Doctoral degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Design, Biomechanical Engineering, or related field; maximum five years post-qualification experience.
- Research Assistant: Honours degree in same fields or equivalent qualification.
- All applicants: Strong hands-on skills in textile engineering, smart textiles, apparel design, biomechanical engineering, wearable systems, or embedded systems.
- All applicants: Strong communication skills and motivation to pursue accomplishments.
Appointment
- Full-time: Postdoctoral Fellow position (12–24 months); three Research Assistant positions (12–24 months each).
