Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the project leader in research on sustainable aviation fuel production using a biorefinery process.
Monitor biorefinery operations in real-time and perform signal/data analysis and AI-assisted modelling.
Develop sensors, data-logging systems, and software integration for the research platform.
(Postdoctoral Fellow only) Lead biorefinery experiments, develop AI tools, and create machine-learning models to map fuel properties.
(Research Assistant only) Support sensor development, data acquisition, hardware/software integration, calibration, and platform operation.

Postdoctoral Fellow: PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Signal Processing, or related field; maximum five years post-qualification experience; strong programming and modelling skills preferred.
Research Assistant: Honours degree or master's degree in Engineering or Science; experience with environmental labs, chemical engineering, sensors, data loggers, programming, electronics, and laboratory testing preferred.
