Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the project leader with a research project on gut microbiota and neuroprotection for optic neuritis.
Undertake administrative duties and project operations.
Conduct experiments and handle laboratory animals.
Collect and analyse research data.
Prepare manuscripts and write reports.

Postdoctoral Fellow: doctoral degree with no more than five years of post-qualification experience.
Research Associate: master's degree or good honours degree with three or more years of research experience.
Research Assistant: honours degree or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrate good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Be a good team player able to work independently and be self-motivated and organized.
Preference given to those with optometry/ophthalmology background or expertise in neuroscience, immunology, biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or bioinformatics.
