Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research in urban land use change modelling, climate change adaptation, smart cities, urban sustainability, or urban informatics.
- Prepare research proposals, draft research articles, reports, and presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Human Geography, Urban Studies/Planning, GIS, or related discipline.
- Outstanding track record of publications with ability to conduct independent and ethical research.
- Proficiency in spatial data analysis and modelling using ArcGIS, R, Python, and statistical software.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; experience with cellular automata, ABM, Geosimulation, or GeoAI preferred.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — one year commencing July 2025, renewable subject to good performance.
