Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research in urban land use change modelling, climate change adaptation, smart cities, urban sustainability, or urban informatics.
- Prepare research proposals, draft research articles, reports, and presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising professor.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. in Human Geography, Urban Studies/Planning, GIS, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate outstanding publication record and ability to conduct independent, ethical research.
- Possess proficiency in spatial data analysis, ArcGIS, R, Python, and statistical software.
- Have excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Experience with cellular automata modelling, ABM, Geosimulation, or GeoAI is preferred.
Appointment
- Full-time contract position for one year, renewable subject to good performance.
