Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and design courses in English language teaching for primary and secondary school teachers and TESOL professionals.
- Undertake scholarly research and pursue external competitive research grants.
- Conduct teaching practicum supervision and supervise doctoral students.
- Direct and manage programmes within the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold excellent academic qualifications including a relevant doctoral degree.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to excellent teaching.
- Show a track record of active research and publications.
- For Professor/Associate Professor level: demonstrate outstanding research, successful grant acquisition, international scholarship impact, and experience supervising research postgraduate students.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for up to three years initially, with potential for longer-term appointment or substantiation subject to funding and mutual agreement.
